Northcrest Preserve - Share Your Photos

Do you have a unique photo of an animal, plant or fungus seen in Northcrest? Part of the fun of this site is the interesting ways the images were recorded by the neighbor who is also a part of the ecosystem, utilizing mobile phones, trail cams or even doorbell cameras. The focus is the actual Northcrest specimens of these species—as observed anywhere within the larger Northcrest community, by the Northcrest humans that also live here.

Northcrest neighbors are welcome to share professional OR amateur photos taken within Northcrest of Northcrest species. Please be sure to tell us a little about your photo (e.g., species observed, when it was taken, where it was taken, any unique behavior or interactions you observed, etc.). And if you are not sure exactly what you observed—we’ll do our best to figure it out. Our crack (pot?) team of amateur and professional-ish naturalists are on it!

There’s a lot to explore just outside your door. Please be mindful in your interactions with all living things. Always be safe when attempting to capture photos.
