About the Club

street signNorthcrest Swim and Tennis is a member-owned and operated social club and neighborhood recreational facility located in Atlanta’s Northcrest community. For more than 50 years it has served as the center of many community activities in Doraville and Tucker.

Members enjoy access to a variety of amenities nestled among four beautiful acres of private space. The club is a great place to take the family for a quick picnic meal, swim or outdoor play and relaxation time. Families love the wide open spaces where kids can play and explore, but still remain within eyesight of mom and dad.

So drop by, pull up a chair, enjoy your favorite beverage, and relax at your very own private, neighborhood getaway.

 

Swimming Facilities
Pool deck

Our unique, trapezoid-shaped pool is no doubt the most popular feature at the club, complete with classic lane lines for laps and a cool retro diving board. A spacious deck area always has plenty of lounge chairs and umbrella tables for members. A smaller wading pool is available for the three-and-under crew. A certified lifeguard to ensure a safe and fun time for all.

The nearby Tiki Hut snack bar features ice cold drinks, frozen treats and delicious hot and cold snack items. Fridge and freezer space for those that wish to bring their own stash of supplies and adults may store any enjoy “BYOB” beverage they wish. (However, no glass is ever allowed anywhere inside the fenced pool area.) For more information, visit our swim page.

Swim lessons are available for children ages 3 months to 14 years. Let us know you are interested and we’ll help you arrange it.

 

Social Events

Northcrest is known for its awesome family-friendly events. Bi-weekly sit down social dinners begin in May and generally wrap up in September. Thanks to some uniquely-talented members, many of these events feature meals you won’t find at any restaurant. Past social events have included the annual Low Country Boil, Indian Family Feast, Luau, Fiesta Night, Greek Night, Eastern European Night, Italian Night, Fourth of July BBQ and more.

Tennis

Why not challenge your spouse or a neighbor to a spirited game on one of the club’s two tennis courts? Can’t fit that game into your busy summer days? No problem — the courts are open year-round and lighted for evening play!

Play

Sports enthusiasts and spectators will enjoy the club’s volleyball, horseshoes, and bocce ball areas—along with football, baseball, and soccer games on the Club’s huge playing field. For members, the Club is considered an extension of their own backyards, where kids and adults can practice or play in a fun and safe environment.
